Omega Ensemble’s Summer Winds II Includes A World Premiere

Omega Ensemble’s principal wind musicians are back with a new instalment of musical favourites, full of colour and bravura in Summer Winds II.

From the simple style of Damase to the surprising sounds of Berio, this performance also includes the recently re-discovered and restored Wind Quintet by Gustav Holst, as well as the world premiere of a new quintet by Russo-Canadian composer Airat Ichmouratov.
