Choirs Invited to Join Sydney Eisteddfod Gala

Calling all choirs! Choirs are invited to join a historic massed choirs event to celebrate the Sydney Eisteddfod 90th Anniversary Gala on Saturday July 1, 7.00pm, 2023 at the Sydney Town Hall.

Singers of all ages will sing with the Gala Alumni Orchestra of over 80 musicians under the expert baton of conductor Dr Nicholas Milton AM. There is stellar line-up of classical music greats violinist Anna Da Silva Chen, flautist Rosie Gallagher and cellist Benett Tsai.

The repertoire includes  Worthy is the Lamb from Handel’s Messiah, Edward Elgar’s Pomp and Circumstance March, Hubert Parry’s Jerusalem. This is your choir’s chance to be part of a historic Sydney event, commemorating the Sydney Eisteddfod’s incredible 90-year legacy as it looks forward to a bright future.
